Subject: Immediate Closure Of All Written Testing

Issue Date: August 8, 1997

One of our test centers was burglarized. Several tests may

have been compromised. In order to continue filling vacancies

and to preserve the integrity of existing registers, we have

temporarily closed testing.

We have begun the replacement process and will begin reopening

shortly. We are preparing a more detailed circular to provide

more information.
