Subject:     Announcement Of October 4, 1995 Pay Hearing

 

Issue Date:  September 7, 1995

 

 

The State Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing

on Wednesday, October 4, 1995 to consider proposed changes to

the Classification and Pay Plan.

 

THE HEARING WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M. AND WILL BE HELD AT THE

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL SERVICE, SECOND FLOOR SOUTH COMMISSION

HEARING ROOM, DOTD ANNEX BUILDING, 1201 CAPITOL ACCESS ROAD,

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.

 

The Commission will consider the following exhibits:

 

The following exhibits (Exhibits A, B, C, D and E) have been

given interim approval by the Civil Service Director since the

April 5, 1995 Pay Hearing.

 

 

EXHIBIT A:  Jobs Added to the Pay Plan Since the 04-05-95 Pay

Hearing.

 

EXHIBIT B:  Job Title Changes to the Pay Plan Since the 04-05-95 Pay Hearing.

 

EXHIBIT C:  Jobs Abolished From the Pay Plan Since the 04-05-95

Pay Hearing.

 

EXHIBIT D:  Job Grade Changes to the Pay Plan Since the 04-05-95 Pay Hearing.

 

EXHIBIT E:  Job Minimum Qualification Changes Since the 04-05-95 Pay Hearing.

 

 

The Commission will also consider the following exhibits.

These changes to the Pay Plan noted in Exhibits F, G, and H

have not been given interim approval by the Civil Service

Director.  The changes will not become effective unless adopted

by the Civil Service Commission and approved by the Governor.

If adopted by the Civil Service Commission and the Governor,

the effective date of these changes will be set by the

Governor.

be issued prior to the meeting.

 

Please review these proposals and furnish us, as soon as

possible, any comments which you consider pertinent.  Comments

and recommendations will be considered only on the above items.

If you would like to appear before the Commission to present

your comments orally, you are invited to do so and are

requested to notify the Department of Civil Service of such

intentions in advance of the meeting.

 

Please post this General Circular prominently so that all

employees will receive notice of this hearing.

 

If any special accommodations are needed, please notify us

prior to this meeting.
