Subject: Shortage And Noncompetitive Jobs Are On-line

Issue Date: May 1, 1995

As of April 28, 1995 OPEN System users will be able to inquire on-line to view a list of shortage, noncompetitive, and special category jobs (i.e., those jobs covered by Rule 7.20).

Because of the new on-line inquiry, the Department will no longer distribute paper copies of this list. This list was formerly published and distributed in a booklet with a pink cover entitled Louisiana State Civil Service List of Noncompetitive State Jobs which was last issued March 2, 1994.

You should destroy all copies of that booklet and any earlier versions as they are obsolete.
