Subject: Proposed Structure Adjustment For General Schedule

Issue Date: August 12, 1994

The State Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing

on Wednesday, September 14, 1994 to consider a proposed

structure adjustment to the General Schedule only.

THE HEARING WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M. AND WILL BE HELD AT THE

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL SERVICE, SECOND FLOOR SOUTH COMMISSION

HEARING ROOM, DOTD ANNEX BUILDING, 1201 CAPITOL ACCESS ROAD,

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.

The structure adjustment will consist of moving the range

minimum of the General Schedule approximately 4% and moving the

range maximum of the General Schedule approximately 10%.

The Commission will also consider all proposed changes

contained in General Circular #1160 at this hearing.

Please review this proposal and furnish us, as soon as

possible, any comments which you consider pertinent. If you

would like to appear before the Commission and present your

comments orally, you are invited to do so and are requested to

notify the Department of Civil Service of such intentions in

advance of the meeting.

Please post this General Circular prominently so that all

employees will receive notice of this hearing.

If any special accommodations are needed, please notify us

prior to the meeting.
