Subject: Verifying Transcripts For Accounting Hours
Issue Date: May 19, 1994
Effective June 1, 1994 transcripts must be submitted with applications for all jobs requiring accounting semester hours to qualify. In cases where the accounting hours are necessary to qualify, applications received without a transcript will be returned to the applicant.
Jobs affected by this change will have the following note added to the minimum qualifications.
"Transcripts verifying any college semester hours in accounting necessary to qualify must be submitted with the application. Qualifying semester hours in accounting must be progressive coursework. Credit will not be allowed for two accounting courses which cover essentially the same material."
