Effective
July 1, 1994, the current tests for the jobs listed
below
are being replaced by the Professional Entry Test series
1333. All active grades on the current registers
for these
jobs
will be voided on July 1, 1994.
Applicants
on the current registers are being notified and
instructed
to apply for the new registers during the PET open
period
of May and June 1994. Applicants testing during May and
June
will be issued their grades normally. However,
certificates
will be issued ONLY from the current (non-PET)
registers
through June 30, 1994. Certificates
will be issued
from
the new registers beginning July 1, 1994.
The
attachment shows the current test series/card for each job
and its
current certifiable score, if any. The
columns at the
far
right show the job's new 1333 series number and the
certifiable
score being established for that new register.
During
the May-June transition period, certifiable score
appointments
may be made on the basis of either the old (non-PET) registers or the new PET
registers. After June 30,
certifiable
score appointments may be based ONLY on the new PET
registers. If you have questions about making a
