Clarification of Appointment Date for QUEST

The current
Guidelines for Agencies on “How to Fill a Clerical Job Using QUEST” do not
specify the earliest date an appointment may be effective. With this general
circular we are establishing the following standard.
The earliest an
applicant can be appointed to a QUEST vacancy is the day after the job posting
has closed. This clarification to the
guidelines will be updated on the HR Info website.
