Subject: The Examining Division Changes How Jobs Are Announced

Issue Date: January 11, 2002

Special Announcement #23-01, which was issued on December 17, 2001, was the last Special Announcement bulletin posted to the Web. Beginning in January, 2002, announced jobs will appear only in Job Search (http://www.dscs.state.la.us/jobs.nsf). The first batch is scheduled to be posted on January 14, 2002.

For the first two months of 2002, the Examining Division will post announced jobs to Job Search on a bi-weekly schedule, as the Special Announcement bulletin was previously published. All announcements will open on Mondays and close on Fridays.

Effective February 25, 2002, the Examining Division will begin posting announced jobs on a weekly basis. They will still be open for two weeks, opening on Mondays and closing on Fridays.

Human Resources officers can now find the deadlines for submitting Requests for Certificates (SF2's) on the HRInfo! site along with a schedule of when jobs will be posted for the first part of 2002.
