Subject: Announcement of Discontinuing General Circulars on OPEN

Issue Date: May 3, 2001

This circular is to inform you that as of May 18, 2001 General Circulars will no longer be stored or be retrievable through the OPEN system. They will, however, be available on the Internet and, of course, hard copies mailed. This will be the last General Circular available on the OPEN system.

The Department of State Civil Service's web site, www.dscs.state.la.us, has every General Circular posted since March of 1994.

If your agency's only access to General Circulars is by the OPEN system and you do not receive hard copies, please complete the form attached and submit it to the address indicated on the form.
