Workshop Information

This workshop will include LASERS updates and details associated with everything from enrollment of a member to guiding an employee through the retirement process.  The curriculum will include changes in current legislation; enrollment information; contribution reporting;  purchases of service credit; refund of contributions; survivor benefits; various types of retirement-disability, early retirement, regular, deferred retirement option plan (DROP), and initial benefit option (IBO); eligibility requirements; and rehired retirees.  It is recommended the workshop be attended annually by Human Resource and Payroll professionals.

To register for a training date, follow the normal CPTP class registration procedures.
