Information Found On OPEN And The Web site

 

The following information is available on the OPEN system and the Web site.

 

The Civil Service Pay Plan: displays data about each job in the classified pay plan, including pay information, evaluation factors, and ratings, and a chronology of changes to each job (Job Specifications no longer on OPEN. They are available only on the Website.)

 

List of Civil Service Exams: displays information about Civil Service registers such as which jobs are filled from each register, the selection procedure used for each job, etc.

 

Shortage, Special, Non-competitive jobs: displays pay plan information about the jobs falling into these categories

 

** The Job Information and Test Finder application on the Civil Service Web site, www.civilservice.louisiana.gov combines the information found under the List of Civil Service Exams and the View Shortage, Special, Non-Competitive jobs inquiries. Additionally, the JITF displays information about the remainder of the pay plan (TBD jobs, etc.). We recommend that you use this more convenient, all-in-one format.
