Online Personnel Information System (OPEN)

The Online Personnel Information System (OPEN) helps Human Resources professionals complete various day-to-day human resource management functions. To improve the communication of this information, Civil Service is moving towards relocating all of the information in the OPEN system to the department’s Web site. Therefore, some of the information on the OPEN system is also found on the Web site, and some information previously found on the OPEN system is now only seen on the Web site. All records containing protected information, such as addresses and social security numbers, will remain only on the OPEN system until Civil Service obtains a secure Web site to protect this information.
