Drug-Free Workplace
All state employees are
required to pass a pre-employment drug test. Additionally, every employee is
subject to post-accident testing and testing for other reasons, such as
reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty and follow-up drug and alcohol test.
Many employees are
employed in safety-sensitive positions and are subject to random drug and
alcohol testing. A list of the safety-sensitive positions can be found with
your supporting Human Resources office.
Employees are also
required to take mandatory training in this area every three
years.
