Test Taking Tips

 

  1. Get there early. Give yourself plenty of extra time to get to the test center and to park.
  2. Listen to the test monitors and follow their instructions carefully.
  3. Read ALL the answer choices to a question before deciding which answer is best.
  4. If you're not sure of an answer, go with your first choice.
  5. If you cannot decide on the best answer to a question, skip it and go back to it later.
  6. Use your watch or the clock in the room to keep track of your time during the test.
  7. It's to your advantage to answer as many questions as possible, even if you must guess.
  8. Mark your answers on the answer sheet and NOT in the test booklet. Only answers clearly marked on the answer sheet can be given credit.
