Pay Adjustments for additional duties, in accordance with Civil Service

duties, effective January 24, 2008 through March 7, 2008, or for the duration

permanent adjustment of 10% for Ms. Mary Gloston, Human Resource Director C,
effective September 1, 2007. Department recommends approval of a 7%
adjustment for equal level duties. THE COMMISSION GRANTED A 7% ADJUSTMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE DEPARTMENT.
d. Division of Administration – for a permanent adjustment of 10% for Ms. Pamela
Perkins, Attorney General Counsel 2, effective July 1, 2007. Department recommends approval of a 7%
adjustment for equal level duties. AFTER RECEIVING
COMMENTS FROM MS. BARBARA GOODSON, DEPUTY COMMISSIONER, AND MR. JERRY JONES,
DIRECTOR OF FACILITY PLANNING & CONTROL, FROM THE DIVISION OF
ADMINISTRATION; THE COMMISSION GRANTED A
7% ADJUSTMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE DEPARTMENT, AND PROMISED TO REVISIT OPTIONAL
PAY RULES AND POLICIES. VICE-CHAIRMAN BURL CAIN WAS IN OPPOSITION OF GRANTING ONLY
A 7% ADJUSTMENT.
e. Division of Administration – for a
temporary adjustment of 5% (for a total of 10%) for Ms. Karen Puckett, CPTP
Operations Manager, effective January 14, 2008 through July 13, 2008. Department
recommends approval as requested. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.
f. Department
of Health and Hospitals –
for a temporary adjustment of 5% (with 5% already having been granted) for Ms.
Dorothy LaFleur, Medical Certification Specialist within the Office of Aging
Adult Services, effective December 1, 2007. Department recommends

Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans – for premium pay in an amount
up to $3.00 per hour for all hours worked by Dental Assistant and Dental
Assistant Supervisor series, effective February 25, 2008. Department

c. LSU Health Care Services Division –
University Medical Center – for premium
