7)         Request of the Department of Civil Service for a lump sum payment of $250.00 under Civil Service Rule 6.16(a) for Mrs. Sherry Curvin for attainment of the Professional in Human Resources Designation, effective March 7, 2007. 8)         Consideration of the following requests for an individual pay adjustment in accordance with Civil Service Rule 6.16(c):

           

a.      Department of Economic Development – in the amount of $798.14 biweekly for Mr. Robert Cangelosi, Attorney 3 (AS-620), effective January 15, 2007.  Department recommends approval as requested. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.

 

b.     Department of Economic Development – in the amount of $323.75 biweekly for Mr. Richard Broussard, Business Development Manager (AS-621), effective January 9, 2007.  Department recommends approval as requested. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.

9)         Consideration of the following requests to establish or amend an Optional Pay Adjustment policy in accordance with Civil Service Rule 6.16.2 as follows:

 

a.      Housing Authority of the City of Baton Rouge – to amend their existing Optional Pay Adjustment policy, effective March 7, 2007.  Department recommends approval as requested. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.

 

            b.   Louisiana State University at Eunice – to establish an Optional Pay Adjustment policy, effective January 16, 2007.  Department recommends approval as requested. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.

10)       Request of the Department of Revenue to convert previously approved temporary Optional Pay Adjustment in the amount of 10% for Krissy Thomas, Administrative Assistant 5, to a permanent Optional Pay Adjustment in accordance with Civil Service Rule 6.16.2, effective October 4, 2006.  Department recommends approval as requested. ADDED TO THE AGENDA:

 

1)         Request to add to the agenda the request of the Department of State Civil Service to adopt a Resolution for Referee Paul St. Dizier, who is employed in the Appeals Division of the Department of State Civil Service, appointing and empowering him to hear and decide any appeal that is pending before the State Civil Service Commission on February 26, 2007, as well as any appeal filed thereafter. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST TO ADD REQUEST TO THE AGENDA.
