1)         Follow-up on the Housing Authority of New Orleans’ extension of furlough granted at the Commission’s April 5, 2006 meeting.  (Appearance by Judy McGimsey, Department of Civil Service and representatives of the Housing Authority of New Orleans.) TERRELL BROUSSARD, RAYMOND ALLEN, MARY ALEXANDER AND ADONIS WOODS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF NEW ORLEANS REPORTED TO THE COMMISSION.

 

2)         Consideration of the following requests for individual pay adjustments in accordance with Civil Service Rule 6.16(c), as follows:

 

a.         Department of Health and Hospitals – for Paulette Claiborne, Medicaid Program Monitor, in the amount of $264.00 biweekly, effective August 29, 2005 through December 2, 2005 and $274.40 biweekly, effective December 3, 2005.  THE REQUEST WAS GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.

 

b.         Department of Wildlife and Fisheries - for an individual pay adjustment for Ruth Elsey, Biologist Manager, and George Melancon, Biologist 3, effective May 3, 2006.  AFTER RECEIVING A REPORT FROM JANICE LANSING, UNDERSECRETARY FOR WILDLIFE AND FISHERIES, THE REQUEST WAS GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.

3)         Consideration of the following requests for optional pay adjustments in accordance with Civil Service Rule 6.16.2, as follows:

 

a.         Department of Natural Resources – to revise an optional pay adjustment for Gerald Duszynski, Deputy Assistant Secretary, effective April 5, 2006.  THE REQUEST WAS GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.

 

b.         Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities – for a lump sum temporary optional pay adjustment of 10% for Carolyn May, Human Resources Director 1, effective March 22, 2005 through September 6, 2005.  THE REQUEST WAS WITHDRAWN.
