of the Louisiana Special Education Center for an individual pay adjustment,
under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16(c) for William Dick, Social

effective June 27, 2005.

12) Request
of the Southern University System for authority to establish an Optional Pay
Adjustment policy under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16.2, effective
upon approval by the commission, as follows: (Appearance by representatives
of the Southern University System.)

Retention
of employees deemed essential to the agency – up to 10% base pay or lump sum
increase to match a written and verified offer from a private employer, an
unclassified position in state service, or a position at a non-state
governmental entity or the offer of an unclassified state position. Employees at range maximum may receive a
one-time lump sum payment of up to 10% of the employee’s final salary.
·
Recruit
employees into difficult to fill positions – up to 10% base pay or lump sum
increase in order to recruit employees into difficult to fill positions.
·
Adjust
pay differentials between comparable employees or employees within a
supervisory chain – up to 10% base pay increase for salary compression caused
by the implementation of either Civil Service Rules 6.5(b) or 6.5(g).
·
Compensation
for additional duties – up to 5% base pay or lump sum increase to award
employees for either permanent or temporary additional duties. All increases above 5% for additional duties
must receive approval from the Civil Service Commission before implementation.

Recognition policy under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16.1 as

Housing
Authority of Lafourche Parish
- to establish a Rewards and
Recognition policy, effective October 1,
2005, as follows:
·
To
reward employees up to 9% of base salary in a lump sum in years that the agency
receives a “high performer” rating by the Public Housing Assessment System and
the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
These ratings are measured on an annual basis and consist of four
performance areas: Financial, Management, Physical Inspection and Resident Satisfaction. Employees must have a full-time status and
must have received at least a “satisfactory” rating on their most recent
performance evaluation. The policy does
include all the requirements in regards to posting, award recipients, etc.

b.
Louisiana
State Employees’ Retirement System
- to amend its Rewards and
