· Loyalty and Service Recognition Award – To acknowledge classified employees for outstanding performance and service to the University and its efforts. The employees will receive framed certificates and lapel pins for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service. Employees with 25 years of service will receive a plaque and a watch. Employees with 30 years of service will receive an engraved book desk clock.

employees in the following manner:

employees within the Management and Maintenance departments will receive a
one-time lump sum payment not to exceed 9% of each employee’s base salary on
the occasion when a “High Performer” rating is earned on the Public Housing Management
Assessment Program (PHMAP) certification.

3) General Business No. 15 - Addendum to the requests
for authority, under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16.2, to establish
or amend the Optional Pay Adjustment Policies as follows: THE REQUEST WAS GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.
a. Housing
Authority of the City of Ville Platte - to establish a policy effective May
1, 2004. The agency has chosen to reward permanent employees with a maximum of
10% adjustment to base bay on a permanent basis, a lump sum award, or a
combination of an adjustment to base pay and a lump sum award under the
following conditions:
1.
Retention
of employees deemed essential to the department.
2.
Adjust pay
differentials between comparable employees when the appointing authority
believes there are special circumstances that warrant an adjustment.
3.
To recruit
for difficult-to-fill positions.
4.
A maximum
of 5% will be awarded for the compensation for significant additional duties on
a permanent basis when circumstances warrant.
