4) Consideration of a Resolution urging the Commissioner of Administration and the Louisiana State Legislature to review funding and staffing levels provided for the Louisiana Comprehensive Public Training Program. THE RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE COMMISSION.

6) Consideration of the following request for authority, under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16.1, to amend the Rewards and Recognition Policy as follows: THE REQUEST WAS GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.

(a) Southeastern Louisiana University – effective January 1, 2002.

To allow payments not exceeding the percentage allowed by Civil Service Rules.

For cash awards up to $250 with consideration of the examining fee in determining the amount of the award.

(a) Department of Health and Hospitals – to allow compensation that shall not exceed the maximum allowed under Civil Service Rule 6.16.2 effective January 9, 2002.

8) Consideration of the following requests for authority, under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.16(a) for one-time payments in premium pay: THE REQUESTS WERE GRANTED BY THE COMMISSION.

(a) Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System – $1,000.00 for Patricia Ann Hutchinson, Auditor 1, for successful completion of the Certified Internal Auditor examination.

(b) Office of Group Benefits - $1,000.00 for Roslyn J. Johnson, Audit Director, for completing the requirements for the designation of Certified Public Accountant.

9) Request of the Division of Administration for ongoing authority under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 4.1(d)2, for one (1) position of State Administrative Agency Administrator for the Louisiana Manufactured Housing Commission. 10) Request of the LSU Health Sciences Center – E. A. Conway Medical Center, for an ongoing exception under the provisions of Civil Service Rule 6.27(a), to pay overtime at the time and one-half rate to certain nursing titles performing staff nursing/direct patient care duties and work in excess of 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period effective January 10, 2002.
