THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.1) LSU Health Care Services Division, (University Medical Center), for Van C. Thompson. He demoted, effective December 13, 1999, from the job of Support Enforcement Specialist 2 (GS-14) to the job of Administrative Manager 1 (GS-13). This will allow him to demote and retain his current rate of pay at $2006 per month.

10) Request of LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport for Special Pay in the amount of $2/hour for their Pharmacy Technician Trainees and $3/hour for their Pharmacy Technicians to aid in their recruiting and retention efforts. The department is recommending $.50/hour for the Pharmacy Technician Trainee positions and $1.50/hour for the Pharmacy Technician positions. THE REQUEST WAS WITHDRAWN.
11) Request of the Department of Corrections to change the effective date for the previously approved Flexible Special Entrance/Retention Rates for jobs in the Probation and Parole Adult Series, retroactive to August 16, 1999. THE COMMISSION GRANTED THE REQUEST.
